Looking for a way to get your car fanatics into phonics? Then take a look at these … This pack includes a sound race track board as well as a tricky word one. There are also ten boards covering the words from each set which 2 games for sets 1&2, 3 and 4 and four boards for set 5. How to play: Use counters or even small cars. Place them on the checker start. Pupils roll the dice (to make the game last longer use a 1-3 numbered dice) and move that many spaces. They read the word the land on. First one back to the checker wins.

A fun visual game that can be played in small groups, pairs or individually. There are four boards in total. Each board has it own set of word cards. Players pick a word card from a box or similar or turn a card over. They then read the word and find the picture of that word. Once they find it they can put a counter or similar onto it. If playing with more than one players, then each player will need their own set of coloured counters. Could also be used in connect 4 type games.

Included are two versions: Sea of Words - Activity A colourful activity where the children catch a fish and use them to spell a word on their Ocean board.
